    Webster Wine Bar & Cook Au Vin invite you to the coolest street party of the summer : Chicago's only official French Independence Day street festival, conveniently located in West Lincoln Park!



    ENDORSED BY THE FRENCH COMMUNITY OF CHICAGO, THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO IMMERSE YOURSELF IN FRENCH FOOD, LANGUAGE, MUSIC, CULTURE AND ACTIVITIES, AS WELL AS A CHANCE TO SUPPORT NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESSES.

 
 

Fun French Activities

Pre-order entry tickets to the festival for $5* ($10 at entrance gate) and gain access to the discounted wine, beer, and Champagne, as well as free registration for all the following activities:


FUN FOR KIDS & ADULTS ALIKE:

Pétanque contest : Discover or rediscover the world-famous, lazy afternoon French game. Always a favorite!
From 2 to 6pm with on-site registration for teams of 2 to 4 players.

Wine Tasting : Stimulate your connoisseur skills and try to win our blindfolded wine-tasting contest of 10 French wines. The winner will receive a Bastille Day special magnum (aka double-sized bottle)!.


Playground Games: Those that French kids play in parks and schoolyards. Something for everyone!

Food and Drink Options


FOOD:

Crêpes: Made to order with the same gooey goodness you find on any Parisian street corner! Options include Nutella, French preserves, chocolate and caramel syrup, coconut flakes, almonds, and fresh fruit.

Galettes: A savory, buckwheat version of sweet crêpes, but filled with cheese, meat, and/or veggies. Also made to order!

Cheese Flight: Expand your cheese-eating horizons at the cheese bar. Expect to find familiar faces (Brie, Camembert, and Comte´) as well as some new favorites (Époisse, Valencay, Pont L'Evêque, for example!) Choose 4 kinds from among 25.

Beverages:

Beer: Draft selection of French beers (Stella Artois, Kronenbourg, 1664).
